This year’s Serenbe Designer Showhouse, just outside Atlanta, actually encompassed two homes totaling nearly 5,000 square feet. Fifteen local design firms were charged with reimagining the spaces. Given that the planned community of Serenbe is set among preserved woods and meadows and includes a 25-acre organic farm, it’s no surprise that many of the designers emphasized organic elements in their rooms—though that’s not to say glamour wasn’t present too, as you can see from these images.

The oranges on the pillow fabric and the topiaries play into the theme. “An indoor/outdoor rug softens the floor,” she adds. Find a similar rug here.
The elongated proportions of this room led designer Ashley Miller to create multiple seating areas. Slipper chairs by the wet bar are ideal for entertaining; “on the opposite side, a backless sofa and two skirted accent chairs create a separate seating area for casual conversation or relaxation,” she explains.
