Something Old, Something New
A trio of classic floral patterns floated in gleaming frames encapsulates the New Traditionalist vibe of this room by Julianne Hendrickson of Hendrickson Interiors. The oversize scale of the Vintage Pattern 1-3 Triptych gives a fresh spin to the time-honored motifs. The spindle chairs and the gold-and-glass coffee table play up the traditional, while the streamlined gold chandelier embraces the new.
Ahead of the Curve
Brit Arnesen’s living area is the rare room where right angles don’t predominate. Even the Hazel Bench has inviting rounded corners. The use of bouclé, velvet, and Tibetan lambswool accentuates the room’s soft, inviting allure.

At Ease
As Brexton Cole Interiors well knows, even the smallest nook can become a retreat: Simply add a reading lamp, cozy seating like the Brooke Club Chair, a handy side table, and a good book. A plush sheepskin rug (real or faux) adds to the cocooning ambience.
Cane-Do Spirit
Our first instinct might have been to play up the wallpaper’s pouncing cheetahs with more animal prints. But Olivia Kroncke knew better: She complemented the wallpaper with the urbane Sarah Cane Wall Mirror instead. Adding to the sophistication are the black bathroom fixtures and sconce.

Style Chameleon
The Shaw Slipcover Daybed fits right in with the Spanish Colonial aesthetic in Pia Baroncini’s home—but it’s just as well suited for contemporary and coastal rooms. Adding to the serenity (and preventing the dark wood from feeling too heavy) are the white slipcover sofa, the glass-top coffee table, and the natural-fiber rug.
Bring the Indoors Out
When your second living room is outdoors, you want furniture that’s chic and comfortable enough for indoors. For this enviable outdoor space, Elly Poston opted for a sofa, two lounge chairs, and a coffee table from the Frances Collection. The garden stools provide additional surface space and can double as extra seating.
