Guided Tour of Charleston House
England’s Charleston House, like so many other historic landmarks, has been hard-hit financially by the pandemic. To celebrate the history that lives within its walls, artist Annie Sloan took a select group of us on a virtual tour through the space. Located in East Sussex, Charleston House was the home base of the Bloomsbury Group, the collective of British creatives that included Vanessa and Clive Bell, Virginia Woolf, and Duncan Grant. We learned all about its history and how the inhabitants forever changed the creative landscape. You can learn more about the house, and how to support it, here.
Domino’s Kids’ Edition
Domino magazine, long considered one of the hottest design authorities, did something unexpected this week. It released its first-ever kids’ edition, packed full of cool tips and tricks for designing with tastemakers in training . It also includes a thoughtful interview between actress Drew Barrymore and 12-year-old social media sensation (and crocheting expert) Jonah Larson.
