What We’ve Been Up To…
If we could spend the entire summer at the beach, we would. Fortunately the seaside lifestyle is wonderfully easy to channel whether your home is on the coast or not. We recently paid a visit to model-turned-designer T.R. Pescod, whose Hamptons home puts a Scandinavian-inspired spin on beachy ease. Over on the West Coast, we love the charming style of Carmel, which features elegant architecture, breezy hues, and natural textures that feel both comfortable and elevated. Want to bring the beach home in a smaller way? Our collection of sea-inspired lighting is an easy way to incorporate twisted rope, sea glass, and other coastal elements, while our summery vintage pillows are perfect for adding in lighter textures and cool blue hues.

A Parting Piece of Knowledge…
While they certainly make stylish decorative additions to the home, traditional tribal masks are an essential art form for many cultures in sub-Saharan Africa and have played a significant role in religious ceremonies for thousands of years. Many cultures have dozens of different types of masks, each with its own spiritual significance. They’re crafted of natural materials (wood, copper, lightweight stone) by specially trained artists, and skills are often passed down from father to son. We love them for their uniquely striking appeal—a beautiful way to pay tribute to storied communities.
