Pantry-Basics Baking
So all those photos of home-baked goodies filling your Instagram feed have you hungry to start baking too—but you don’t have four types of sugar in your cupboard, an heirloom sourdough starter on your counter, or vanilla beans in your pantry. Food52 has your back, with 21 baking recipes that don’t require fancy and expensive ingredients. The recipes include flatbread, vegan peppermint truffles, and biscuits, and Food52 even offers substitution suggestions.

In Praise of Yellow Blooms
