Ask designers what they think of Currey & Company, and they’re almost certain to wax lyrical. Founded in 1988 by husband-and-wife team Robert and Suzanne Currey as a purveyor of vintage-inspired garden furnishings, the Atlanta-based company has since become renowned for its lighting, furniture, and decor.

Count Becca Roderick, director of interior design at One Kings Lane, as a fan. “Currey & Company are masters of detailing,” she says. “It is clear that materials are thoughtfully selected, the construction is executed perfectly, and the functionality of the piece is never overlooked.” Below, Becca shares a few of her favorite recent Currey & Company arrivals and how she might incorporate them in a room.

“I’d love to see this large-scale piece over an entry table to create a moment of drama just as you cross the threshold of the home. It’s the perfect way to set the tone when guests arrive and make a lasting impression when they depart.”

“One of these mirrors above each bedside table in a master bedroom would be unforgettable, especially with a table lamp placed in front. They would bring height and depth to an often-forgotten moment in the home.”

“The best table lamps bring a sculptural element to a space, and the texture of this piece provides that handmade sculptural feeling designers are often looking for. The silk shade is a fantastic upgrade—it gives the impression of a custom-made shade right out of the box.”

“This demilune table has everything a designer is looking for in a cabinet: perfect scale, beautiful lines, a gorgeous finish, and a bit of personality. The hand-cast floral handle brings a bespoke feeling designers are always searching for.”

“The gesso white finish is the perfect complement to the abaca rope that is also used as an edging near the top of the shade—a gorgeous element that shows this piece has been expertly crafted.”

“This is a fresh feminine take on a more traditional lantern chandelier. It’s a great way to add a bit of whimsy to your space.”

“A versatile option, this lamp would be a lovely addition to a design scheme with a coastal aesthetic or easily integrated into a space with a modern clean-lined approach.”

“What a gorgeous statement chandelier! It perfectly marries modern geometry with a more traditional woven rattan construction. It’s an excellent way to add stylish texture to any room of your home.”
